The Beach Walkers Book Club started out as a group of women walking together to keep in shape out on Alligator Point.  Enjoying their camaraderie, they formed a bookclub.

Margaret Howard Trammel, author, dance enthusiast and animal lover, along with others, met once a month, discussing a book chosen by the hostess.  A potluck lunch, often taken from the theme of the book, would be served and enjoyed.  Good food, lively discussion would ensue.

We have read a variety of authors such as Octavia Butler, Ernest Hemingway, Robin Kimmerer, and Liane Moriarty.   Bayside Villas residents, Toni Courtier, Carol Coddington, Diane Reitz and Kate Matthews, love being a part of this wonderful group and invite other readers to join us. In recent days, the bookclub has been meeting the third Thursday of each month in our Bayside Villas’ clubhouse.  The next meeting will take place at a member’s home. Reach out to us for more information and details about joining our group.

Glad to see pool deck is being repaired. Currently they sanded the deck to level it. Then they will seal any cracks and put two coats of sealant to protect from moisture. Finally they will put two additional coats different sealant.

The sealant is white and has slip resistant filling.

The pool should look great by then. Leveled, cracks repaired, sealed, furniture refinished and pump house rebuilt.

Hi all,
Well there is a lot going on at Bayside right now and the old wooden railings are coming down and new aluminum (I think that's what they are) ones are going up. Anyway, they really make a difference and look great.
It's no secret I was opposed. I was very pleased and happy with my old original wooden railings but boy what a difference these make. They won't ever have to be painted, you can see easily through them if not over them and they certainly make the complex look cleaner and more modern. I think they are a tremendous improvement and coupled with the new surface around the pool area, which should be finished soon, the place is really shaping up and ready to shine.
