Exercise Classes
Hi! We hope you'll join us for this fun activity. We have a good time, get more fit, and we have healthy snacks if you like. Give it a try for two weeks and see if you don't feel better. You will notice a difference in your movement and your overall outlook. I think you'll love it!

Staying Healthy Exercise Classes are now underway as of Monday, November 24! Each weekday morning at 10 (unless noted on the calendar) will be filled with fun, fellowship, healthy snacks, and safe workouts. We know

Each Wednesday (unless noted on the calendar) a Mindfulness Meditation class will be held following Exercise Class at 9:45 a.m. taught by Linda Tuyn.

Building a Team
Carole Coddington and Kate Matthews have been working to put together challenging but safe workouts which include: QiYoga, Chair exercise, Walking with exercise, & a variety of ways to keep moving and healthy.

Their exercise playlists are available on the Bayside YouTube Channel so you can join in even on days you can't be in the Clubhouse.

Carole & Kate are responsible for opening the clubhouse, setting up the videos, & making sure Clubhouse rules are followed. Any resident can join the team to open & lead classes. Just let Carole or Kate know you're interested!

If you are unable to join the classes, the Gym has a DVD player & TV which can access YouTube exercise videos.
Our gym is now equipped with a variety of exercise equipment including: treadmill. total gym, hand weights, weighted exercise hoops, floor mats, exercise balls, vibration pads, & PT stretching poles.

Meditation With Linda
Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m.
Linda is a retired nurse practioner who has been practicing and teaching meditation for over 40 years. She studied many different approaches, including mindfulness, zen, and lovingkindness meditation so she now presents an eclectic style designed to promote relaxation and well-being. She has primarily taught patients and nursing students over the years and is thrilled to share it with anyone who is interested.
